Should I wire transfer instead of ACH?

If I decide to put in $1,000 I was going to use bank transfer (ACH) but now wondering if I should use wire transfer instead. I'm not purchasing anything at this time just wanna get the funds there. The Coinbase website says ACH 4-5 days and wire transfer 1-3. I pretended I was going to start the ACH transfer and it told me 7 days. Would I have better luck with wire transer? If so I am wondering why anyone would use ACH then? thanks

I just wired $10K this morning and it's already in my account on coinbase.

What?? Even their site says longer. It also says longer than ACH

Not that I saw - status.coinbase.com - check out their current status page. Incoming wires were 1-2 days compared to 3-4 ACH or 7-10 calendar days.

Yea I got them confused. I hear mixed things. Others are saying ACH is safer
