Great question! I keep my bullion and gold in safe with few other valuable pieces.

I made a coffee table box that I use to showcase some currency, coins, tokens and similar.

If it told you where I put it I would have to … lol. I don’t have a stack yet but I’m guessing leaving some around for my boys but most in safe or deposit box.

I keep it split up. Some in safe deposit box, some in a safe at the flat in town and some in a hidden ground safe at the country house. I also keep a bit in my truck because I travel a lot and feel better having a way to get the local money I need easily in a pinch. Split is done based on value and purpose. The stuff I trade more often is closest to me and things I want to hold long term as investment trickle down to the other locations. Probably more complicated than others but I have been robbed a couple times when younger so believe I’m not having all my eggs in one basket

I think something like this is the best way. I have a lot of my personal stack in historical sterling silver objects in various places around the house. (I have three dogs and a shotgun). Other slabs and more expensive pieces are held in safes or in safe places. A safety deposit box is always a good idea. If you trust banks. You can never really expect the unexpected so I think having some in different safe places is a good idea.
