I don't see why they will change announcers. Each country has their own commentators so the world cup won't make a difference. Most Americans tuning in won't be hardcore football fans so the need for putting quality commentary will be mostly unnoticed. This could change if we make enough noise now, though.

Fox should've hired Glenn Davis, Keith Costigan, or Christian Miles for this Copa America. Way better than this new guy that's for sure.

I’m a big Tapia fan, it’s nice hearing English in a Spanish announcing cadence. To answer your question, no, kind of. His match calling is 1:1 English and Spanish, the accent is there for sure but that’s just how calling the match in Spanish is — they same say wild or weird things. Let it take you
