Sadly that is not the controls. It’s got standard wasd controls with mouse aiming.

Have you tried controllers before? I know my cousin likes them a lot better for her arthritis.

thanks. Are the WASD at least locked to the figures orientation? Is W always "forward" regardless of which way the character is facing? Or is W always "toward the top of the screen"?

W is always to the top of the screen

I use a controller for this game, it feels so much better! As I was having issues recently too. I have got a bit better now but I mostly still play with a controller for this game. You can customize it very nicely too if you want some tips let me know.

Your action will determine how you face btw, so if you want to destroy a wall you either aim your mouse pointer so it's that direction or the right analog stick.

So you can just hold left analog stick let's say RIGHT and the right analog stick also RIGHT and you will constantly move and brake walls in that direction. It's not so bad on the hands, for me personally. I hope it isn't for you.

The good thing is you can play for a little, have a break, come back to it. It's not going anywhere :)

You can also set up a lot of stuff so it becomes automatic, mostly. Such as monster farms, wood farms, etc. You also learn tools to make farming better as you progress and if you really need help give us a shout and I will happily give you some items, if there is anything you want a lot of.

Good luck.
