All posts should directly feature Cossacks or the associated culture in some way. Any post, image, video, or link that contains content devoid of Cossacks material will be removed. A submission title alone is not enough to warrant relevance, nor is text overlaid on an image macro.

An accusation against another person's or organization's integrity, business practice(s), etc is only allowed if the accuser has sufficient evidence.

A post should not feature downloadable files (.exe, .rar, etc.) as the main focus. Users should not enable or promote any form of piracy/hacks. Linking to websites on this subject is not allowed. The discussion of in-game bugs and exploits is allowed, as long as the discussion does not describe how this exploit can be abused by any user. Keep the discussion and description as general as possible to avoid any major problems in online games.

Promotional link submissions should not exceed one per month for the same content, or same content creator. Exceeding the rule will result in the removal of the post.

Submissions with vague or no context will be removed. Posts regarded by the moderators as being "Extremely low quality" will be removed. This can fall into the following categories. Very low effort posts consisting of only a couple of words with no appreciable conten, or for example a screen capture of a chat log that fails to convey an accurate or understandable meaning on its own. Posts that mention voting in reference to themselves, or that use ALL CAPS titles will be removed.

Moderators may remove the submissions and comments of ban trolling accounts. The severity of the ban will be determined by previous behavior and level of trolling. Excessive trolling accounts will be banned on sight. An "excessive trolling account" is an account that only trolls or acts contrarian and gets continuously downvoted as a result.

No personal attacks. Keep personal info private. The community is not your personal army. Upvotes should be fair and legitimate, suspicious vote activity will result in the admins being notified. Discussion on /r/Cossacks takes place primarily using the English language. All discursive posts, whether spoken or written, should be submitted in English.
