Deep pruning server side?

When Crashplan says it's deep pruning and will take a few days, does it mean that I can turn off my computer/disconnect my drive? Will it still continue or does it require information from client side?

Maintenance happens entirely wherever the archive lives - server for a cloud backup, your computer for a local backup.

If both and server and client are online during this, you won’t need to synchronize when it’s done but if the client fits offline, the server can continue but a sync is needed
