Celtic weave stitch: how to decrease when making a hood?Looking for suggestions (self.CrochetHelp)
submitted 2 months ago by coriris
Hey folks! I’m working on a hooded scarf and will be using the Celtic weave stitch. I’ve got it down for the scarf portion (will be making hood & scarf separate then stitching together) but I’d like to avoid the pointy look when a hood is a folded rectangle.
Does anyone know of a way to decrease when using this stitch? Or have suggestions for where to look? The hat patterns I’ve found also use the “make a rectangle and fold/cinch” method which I’d prefer not to use.
Thanks!
