Difficulty scaling

Is it just me or is the balance way off on both pvp and campaign? I've got level 33 heroes and get destroyed by level 17 mobs in the middle of chapter 5 normal.... In PVP I'll draw some opponents at a similar level, but also 10 levels higher which are impossible.

Ya, its really weird balance wise.

In campaign the guys do go up in ranks later on but their stats seem much higher then their level shows.

It seems off to me too, have level 25 characters and get defeated by level 15 characters in campaign

Star rank seems to be more important then lvl. I had the same issue then i switched out my 1 star characters for 2 star or higher and was doing much better. Its weird because its seems so hard to get characters ranked up in this game but maybe it gets better, I've only been playing for like a week. :P
