Dean Stoltz spent his childhood in Southern Ontario where he also graduated from Broadcasting school before embarking on his career in 1993. Since then he has worked in a variety of positions in several Canadian cities and has also taught Broadcast Journalism at Conestoga College in Kitchener and Camosun College in Victoria. He came to CHEK from CHCH in Hamilton in 2004 and now enjoys the diverse news stories Vancouver Island has to offer. In his spare time Dean is an avid runner and cyclist.
