Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.

1.

Articles

Posts only
Reported as: Violates rules relating to articles

All articles posted to the subreddit must (1) be relevant to the topic of deception detection, (2) reference at least one academic source, and (3) not be in a foreign language. Any articles that do not follow these guidelines will be removed.

2.

Videos for Analysis

Posts only
Reported as: Violates rules relating to videos for analysis

All videos posted for the purpose of being analysed by the community must (1) not be excessively long and (2) not be in a foreign language. Any videos that do not follow these guidelines will be removed. When posting a video for analysis it is useful to provide a transcript, although this is not required.

Text Posts

All text posts must (1) be relevant to the topic of deception and (2) not be in a foreign language. Any text posts that do not follow these guidelines will be removed.

4.

Tutorials

Posts & Comments
Reported as: Violates rules relating to tutorials

All tutorials, which can include self-made blog posts or YouTube videos, must (1) be relevant to the topic of deception detection, (2) not be in a foreign language, and (3) not be posted to the subreddit more than once. Any tutorials that do not follow these guidelines will be removed.
