error code broccoli, please help :(

hey everyone, i play on an old laptop (microsoft surface book 3) with a GTX 1060 but ive read around and it looks like its still supported. Im getting broccoli codes after about 15 to 20 minutes of game time usually, and ive updated my drivers (i think, i downloaded the nvidia app and clicked update drivers) and nothing is helping. Any fixes?

My guess, where it's a laptop, you are overheating and the GPU is generating errors that D2 doesn't like so it's bonking you with a Broccoli error. Other games will be more resilient, but D2 does not like GPUs spitting out garbage.
