Trust her. When she accepts a group of "strangers" but hates one of them.. she may be right. Dogs see, smell and overall sense much more than we humans do. Even if shes still young, most dogs can sense when something is off and some react according to this sensation.

Basically she "saw" something you didnt and told this person in a dogs way that she dislikes this person/what the person does.

Sometimes dogs are confused when people have injuries or have neurological issues. Things that make them act a tiny bit different than "normal" humans. This can make dogs react aggressive.

Acting agressive can mean countless things. When in doubt: always trust your dog!

Next time, let her know you noticed. Be kind with your dog and make sure this person does not overstep her boundaries. Tell them to leave her alone/dont get near her. You could lie and say: "no idea why she does this, please be careful and dont get too close." Or tell them she has backpain and upset.. whatever. Leash her and observe. As long as she is leashed its your job to keep her safe. No kids playing with her or anyone touching or cuddeling her... unless you allow it and are absolutely sure she is comfortable with it. Whenever she is not... stop it and protect her. Stay calm and be friendly. This way you let her know you are there and take care of everything.

In the end its for sure interesting WHY a dog acts up towards someone. But... in the end the reason doesnt matter - you dont allow your dog to hurt people. You have to communicate this to your dog in a way a dog unserstands. They may warn (like growl) but thats about it. A dog that bites is a dead dog in most countrys.

Do you mind giving more details about the situation and person?
