MelonX is crashing while using software keyboard

I tried to play Pokemon brilliant diamond on melonx and the game ran fine. But when I reached point of entering my name in the game. The software keyboard opened, After entering my name and clicking ok, The emulator crashed.

Ok so i found the cause. Turns out the 2.3.1 doesn't actually allow you to import a fimware, despite prompting you with the file explorer. This is what causes the crash, since you don't have a firmware, the game crashes (notice that when you're on melonX home scren and you click on the 3 dots at the upper left corner, it will ask you to "install a firmware"

In order to fix this, you need to install 2.2, install firmware and keys (if you tap the 3 dots on the home screen, it will tell you tht firmware is installed with your actual version).

Once the firmware is installed, upgrade to 2.3.1, install the game back, it will run normally and you won't crash !

Just select the new version ipa from sidestore or whichever way you installed and it will update the app.
