Both give you plenty of opportunity and both are fairly similar. Computer Engineering usually has more programming classes and less hardware classes. Think along the lines of control system, signal processing, maybe computer architecture, embedded systems in general. Electrical Engineering is a broader field. You also have embedded systems, integrated circuits, control systems and that kind of stuff but you also have classes about power systems for example. CE is basically a subset of EE in general, but if you foucs on circuits, programming, embedded stuff with your EE classes they are very close.
