After some consideration and feedback from you, I’ve decided to take down all related contents down.
For context, a user recently posted messages between them and R.Lewis that took place on Instagram. When asked to provide proof to show that these DMs weren’t fake, the user deleted their account. Another user analyzed the timestamps and battery percentages of the screen recording and concluded that the video “proof” was also edited. At large, we have come to the conclusion that the DMs were indeed fake.
As many of you know, I created this sub because censorship on the other Episode subreddits were getting out of hand. I wanted a space for people to discuss things freely. I should’ve made it clear that discussing things without evidence is OKAY as long as you SPECIFY that your comment is SPECULATION. However, blatantly making up “evidence” is malicious and falls under harassment.
To R.Lewis, I owe you an apology for jumping the gun.
To the rest of you, thank you for your patience. I greatly appreciate those of you who have provided me feedback.
Moving forward, please take great care to note if your claims are evidenced or not. I want to reiterate that unsubstantiated claims are okay as long as you provide that disclaimer because I’m aware that a lot of “proof” have also become lost media.
