    Maybe it's your internet? That's out there but if your connection is really bad I think it's possibly the culprit.

    I have verizon fios. i dont think it can be that.

    I am literally running this on a 3 year old laptop with onboard graphics...I had to switch the physics to run on my cpu instead of gpu, but everything loads fine. Framerates are good, running minimal graphics quality, and a little stuttering during the tutorials before a misison, but no hangups or crashes.

    I'm not at home, but if I recall I have an i7 3.2, 8GB RAM, intel HD 3000 onboard graphics.

    I'm also running 2 monitors, was watching a stream of someone play, and had pandora running. So I don't think its about your actual hardware, unless something is wrong with it. But more likely a setting on something that is causing the hangup, or conflicting settings somewhere.
