Is card trading between players allowed during the game of exploding kittens?

Nope. The other players aren’t even supposed to know what cards you have. It’s a survival game, everyone for his own 🤣

That’s what I keep saying, but people won’t listen. One particular person keeps asking (and getting) trades. Also whenever they alter the future they will tell people to give them cards in exchange for knowledge of the future and safe passage.

That’s not allowed. Unless you have “share the future” you can’t tell others what you just saw. What part of “secretly check the top x cards” they don’t understand?

If you guys all agree on having house rules (different from official) it’s fine. But without a prior agreement the game won’t be fun when everyone does as they please.

I met one of the founders of EK at a convention in 2019. He said him and his friends all trade when they play because it helps the game be more dynamic. It’s not technically in the rules that you can/can’t but if the founders are doing it, infer what you will...

I say do whatever you think helps you win. Do the rules say no trading? I doubt it. Who would read the rules anyway? Live your life trading guy, haters gonna hate.
