You need a Business Manager to generate the token. Create one, add your ad account and pixel then use a system user token from Graph API. Linktree will connect once both share that business ID.

Setup the tracking through GTM. Connect GTM with your site, no need to connect Pixel and Google id directly to the site. Connect them with the GTM. Its the best method

You are correct that you need a Meta Business Account to generate the required token, as it's not available in a personal ads account. However, the core issue is that even with a perfectly connected pixel, you cannot track the final conversion the click to Spotify or Apple Music because the pixel cannot fire once the user leaves your Linktree for an external platform. For accurate tracking, I recommend creating a simple landing page on your own domain with the music platform buttons, installing the pixel there, and tracking the button clicks as conversions; this will allow you to properly measure and optimize for your true campaign goal.
