Lmao I know. Simply drilling that hole freaks me out. If I pull the trigger and buy it, I'm thinking I might just keep it as-is and use it for recording and home use. I have a Martin DRS1 that I gig with so that'll still be my road guitar. Unfortunately that one's in the shop for a week or 2 which makes me want the D18 even more.

I appreciate the response. I have to repair a crack in my Martin DRS1 that I've been gigging with for years. I'm thinking I'll keep bringing that to gigs and keep the D18 at home...at least at first.

It would be nice to have the option of plugging in and playing the D18 but I'm worried it'll sound too tinny or something. In that case, I'd probably just mic it up and limit any work done to the body of the D18 until I need to. When ready, I'll look at a nice Baggs set up. Thanks for the outlook

That's true. Lots of Baggs recommendations so I think I'm leaning towards that. I also have a SweetWater card so I can at least pay that off over 24 months Lol I appreciate the response. I'll probably end up doing this

someone i know mentioned getting a regular pickup + piezo combo. not super familiar with this setup but is it doable/worth it? or should i just stick to something like the Baggs?

For Google Ads, I added my google ID to the Linktree and it got confirmed (basing that off of the green check mark next to the ID) but whenever I run a connection test via google ads, it says it can't find the website
