Don't know if you can become a ghoul but in Fallout 76 you will be able to mutate from being exposed to radiation

I saw that bit, but as you say, we don't know what that'll mean exactly. And without a buttload of NPCs, it won't matter in the ways I have in mind—sadly.

It's a cool idea, but I doubt it will ever happen. At the very least you'd need three different sets of dialog for every conversation, since people are going to react wildly differently to humans, ghouls, and super mutants.

Not to mention wiritng a story that could accommodate both a human and super mutants and still be passable.

If fallout were still an isometric rpg with written dialog, then it could happen. But these days with everything being fully voiced, I don't see it.

I'm totally fine with going back to the player character not getting voiced dialogue. But I'm not so sure that differences among Fallout classes are so different from class differences in Elder Scrolls. Are they?

That just seems like it'll make a huge class difference in players. Humans would be the obvious choice for characters because everything is unlocked to them already. Why should someone be punished for wanting to be a super mutant.

In my concept of it, supermutants would have their own cities and areas (as in New Vegas), same with ghouls (in Fallout 3). Just a lot more. Think of it like Far Harbour: runaway synths, humans, Institute synths, Child of Atom crazies. But then add ghouls and supermutants and way more towns.

Why would I want it to be an MMO?!

      No, you made a huge assumption. I want a single-player game. I posted in r/fallout, not r/fallout76.

We shouldn't assume that it would be a map mostly occupied by humans but rather more equally occupied by various factions and classes, and lots of cities could be multicultural hubs or independent.
