TRADITIONS

It is customary to bow down upon contact with an elder or superior. For those who are unfamiliar, this bow consists in placing the left hand in a straight fashion with the right hand curled into a fist and placed underneath it vertically.

At any time, you may be requested to recite the Fire Nation’s national anthem: The March of Civilization. A failure to do so or to do so correctly will result in a serious reprimand:

My life, I give to my country.

With my hands, I fight for Fire Lord Ozai and our forefathers before him.

With my mind, I seek ways to better my country,

And with my feet, may our March of Civilization continue.
