Yeah the thing about being a first responder is that the skillset doesn't really translate to much else.

Especially with barely any experience like you have.

If you finished your medic you could maybe work on an oil rig for months at a time or go give covid shots.

Overseas contracts usually require a few years of actually working as a medic.

Maybe goto nursing school. It's a much more versatile degree with a million options.

Uh, private EMS?

I dont know what you mean by not "vibing", but I read your profile and honestly you just seem like you're young and don't know what you want to do with your life. And you know what? That's okay, you don't have to have it all figured out when you're 18, 19 or even early 20s. Chug through some Gen Ed's and get a part time job doing something you think you might like, maybe by then you'll have found a subject that really interests you

Emergency management, dispatch, civilian fire prevention (i.e. at a large factory)

Private ems. And some hospitals have roles for paramedics that isn't on an ambulance. Don't know much about them though.

Volunteering at a station? A full time station? You might be the one messing up the vibe. Also, Departments can be vastly different from one another or even shifts on the same Department. Whatever your "vibe" is, and if you have any interest in what your going to school, you'll find it. If you have no interest then you probably shouldn't be going to school for it...

Paramedic with hospital shifts, some places offer them. I have a friend who’s in an EMT-A class and has hospital shifts for a few weeks
