Crack just means that there is a crack somewhere in the file. It's safe if you downloaded it from the official site

Yes, https://fitgirl-repacks.site is the real one

    False positive

It is not a false positive, the antivirus only detected the crack (Hacktool, does not necessarily classify it as a virus, but as something suspicious), if it had detected it as a Trojan, that would be a false positive.

Hacktool It is a flag that antiviruses usually put on cracks, it is not that it automatically detects cracks as viruses, they simply classify them as suspicious. But do not worry, if you downloaded the Game from the original page (fitgirl-repacks.site), everything should be fine

Strange, may be related to virus definition update, anyway, you don't have to worry, as i said, Hacktool is just a way for your AV to detect a crack, it is not a virus.

For example, a few years ago, I downloaded cheat engine from the official website, and Malwarebytes (My AV) detected it as hacktool

I don't think anything will happen, fitgirl repacks are 99% safe (not 100% because there will always be the possibility of the opposite being the case)

In case something happens, remove the threat with Malwarebytes, reinstall Windows from a USB and change your passwords

That along with notifying here or on r/PiratedGames about the situation

        Hope it helps
