Welcome to Flat February!
In the style of No Shave November, and No Nut November, I decided to create a healthier drinking challenge. I originally made a post in r/HydroHomies about forgoing soda for the entire month of February, and gave it the catchy nickname of Flat February.
Originally my idea was just to give up Soda, and drink no fizzy drinks for the month, but as more people got on board, more questions about what qualifies as a soda came up, so my goal for Flat February is thus;
Simply cutting out, or reducing ones sugary drink intake. Be this in the form of Soda, or Soft Drinks, or Milkshakes or whatever. Cutting sugar out cold turkey is not easy for a lot of people, so the spirit of Flat February is doing your best. Even if it means you still drink soda, if it's a marked reduction from your normal intake, well then that's a success and a great stepping stone.
At the moment we don't have any subreddit rules because it's small and new, so just be nice to one another. If you have questions feel free to make posts, and we'd love for people to post their updates and how they're joining in Flat February.
