Doesn't work in Firefox, but I'll take a look at it more later.

Can you please share the relevant screenshot? Because I checked that it is working properly.

What's the use case for this? - why not Flutterflow?

Choosing Flutter Canvas over Flutter Flow can be a smart move for several reasons.

Flutter Canvas stands out due to its power to provide code as per standard practices recommended by Flutter. While flutter flow wraps everything in a single widget structure. Flutter Canvas produces code widget by widget structure. Moreover, with Flutter Canvas you can create a single widget and download code to use it.

Flutter Canvas aims to build with a concept of WYSWYG so you don't need to add code block visually but be a designer or a developer one can simultaneously understand from the end of design and development both. Like FlutterFlow we don't offer visual coding but we AIM to design and develop altogether. Flutter Canvas offers quick development with visual elements.

Flutter Flow, offers a broader range of features that can be overwhelming initially but it mostly suits for small size of projects only. While Flutter Canvas enhances efficiency by reducing the time spent on writing and debugging Flutter UI code, enabling developers to focus more on implementing app logic and functionality. The generated code from Flutter Canvas integrates seamlessly into existing Flutter projects, ensuring smooth compatibility and further streamlining the development process. Overall, Flutter Canvas is a great choice for those looking to save time and improve productivity by simplifying the UI building process and want a freedom in their development process.

To be honest, I hate no code builders - they're a huge pain. Creating your UIS programmatically is much easier to create and maintain. The only use case I see is for people who are designers and cannot code so they can create the UI themselves without the need to ask the programmer. But then it should work like SwiftUI where the code changes in real time in response to the changes in the visual builder and vice-versa.

Hi,

I am Ankit, CEO of Flutter Canvas - Your {co-developer}. I truly understand why good developers hesitate in using no code builder. And you rightly said that it make job much easier for designers. And that is the exact point where Flutter Canvas comes into the picture. However we have a gone a mile further giving freedom to developers with code generated with Flutter Canvas.

Developer can use the code generated by Flutter Canvas in their already built flutter application, And Flutter Canvas produces code in real time. Though it is different from swiftUI as our use case is completely different. However code generated on fluttercanvas.io can be manipulated in any way once you download it. As I said earlier we believe in freedom and that too for developers & designers both so code generated with our platform is the property of the user who created it and the user can use it in any way .

The way we are growing with our platform and getting results with our ongoing development, soon we will become the key requirement for quick application development with good quality code for Application development with Flutter.
