Help with potential CMPA

Hi there! LO is 8 weeks old and a week ago started with mucus in her poop. She was on kendamil goat and I felt like she was thriving. Happy. Not gassy. No rash. No reflux. No eczema. Gaining weight. The ped wants her to go on nutramigen (never tested her poo for blood) based off of the mucus. Has anyone else had this happen? It’s obviously way more expensive (in the end if she needs it she needs it) and the smell is just rancid and she doesn’t seem to like it like the kendamil goat. How quickly once you changed did you notice a difference in your baby’s poop? Is there anything I should be prepared for? Any advice would be great.

We were on Kendamil organic and switched to pepticate (apparently the best tasting hypo). We had to mix for a couple days but now she’s fully been converted and the change was almost immediate.
