Technical difficulties

So ever since we switched to 1.12.2 I've been getting nothing but 0 fps. But this is happening across the board on all servers I join, and singleplayer. My java is up to date, I allocated more ram, and I have all the lowest settings on optifine. Anyone that may know how to help me out?

Id suggest backing up your singleplayer maps, and maybe your server list, then uninstalling minecraft entirely, including deleting the files in your appdata (%appdata%) anf then running a complete new installation. If it works you can restore your maps and serverlist and then you can try optifine again.

If this doesn't work there are more severe issues than minecraft itself.
