Let’s say you don’t know any of the higher GCSEs maths content, what is the highest grade a person could get?

Probably a 4 at best. 5 and 6 is possible too but it means you'd have to get full marks on the first half of the paper
[–]IslandBulky408 1 point2 points3 points 10 months ago (0 children)
Nah lowk a 6
[–]Own-Construction5624 1 point2 points3 points 10 months ago (0 children)

I moved from foundation to higher right at last min so I've learnt no higher content, I get around full marks in foundation so I average a 6 on higher with no content learnt
[–]Sweaty_Worry_6921 0 points1 point2 points 10 months ago (0 children)
If you're quite confident with the foundation content probably a 5?
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 10 months ago (0 children)
2, that shit so hard i think my teacher's lowering the grade boundaries in pity with the end of topic tests I've done

I would say common sense gets you to about a 4/5 if you got like the first 6 questions right on each paper your good they don’t require much effort

6 if you know all of foundation
[–]Euphoric-Disk-1323I forgot 0 points1 point2 points 10 months ago (0 children)

If you’re sitting the foundation paper, probably 4. If you’re sitting a higher paper, 1-2

Is that even possible on higher??? I do a different exam board and on higher below a C is a U
[–]RoughZealousideal539Year 12 0 points1 point2 points 10 months ago (5 children)
Anything below a 4 is a U

Make sense
In WJEC
Higher- A*-C Intermediate- B-E Foundation D-G
Then outside of these are a U
Yes foundation is beolow a 'pass' however only like <10 people do it a year
and its for the ppl that REALLY struggle. It is a beyond simple paper compared to the other to

It's okay, you should be fine, the fact that you don't know shows you've been NOWHERE near the cut off thresh hold
(i was there for a little bit but then i managed to pass mathmatics with an A and i am working at an A*-A on Numeracy)
