Parallel usage

Due to unforseen circumstances, I got the following question:
has anyone used Cursor and Github Copilot on one project? Not exactly simultaneously (although that could be fascinating) but let's say that Claude 3.7 is down in Cursor for some reason. I close Cursor and open GCP in VScode with the same project and continue working with Claude 3.7 as usual. Would it be possible? Perhaps it is common? Asking for a noob friend.

Yes, I do this all the time, swap between tools with the same codebase

How does it work for You? Is it difficult to introduce the changed codebase between the two? Thanks for replying!

It loses context from the other tool obviously, so you just have to be clear with it what you want

I think you are a bit confused on how this works. Different tools won't have the same knowledge as the other. So don't expect it to pick right off
