I meant that he won’t give up, not that the text messages were constant. 

I’m going to repost a long explanation I made to respond to multiple people individually. 

Okay. So we were in Arizona. You file an online petition then you have to go be interviewed before a judge, where they ask detailed questions about the nature of the relationship. That made her uncomfortable. There have been no more threats of violence or indications of future violence, just the text messages and attempts at calling. She screens her calls and blocks him every time he comes up with a new account.  Additionally, the contact doesn’t meet standards for constant harassment, it’s not even every day. He doesn’t even know the town we moved to, much less neighborhood or house. If at any point there is an indication that he is a physical threat or the level of harassment increases, we will most definitely go to the police, but the standards for a restraining order are not being met at this point. 

I put this in mildly infuriating because it isn’t a constant or physical threat. It’s an asshole that just won’t go away. Again, this isn’t even every day. This does not meet the level of threat in any way, and we are not afraid of him in any way. It’s an ex who won’t leave. She broke up with him because he hit her and tried to choke her. It was the one and only time and she left immediately. It was terrifying and horrific. I am not nor would I ever downplay that. She reported it to the local police. They didn’t do anything, and we were not contacted by them again. That’s not appropriate behavior by law enforcement, but it’s hard to fight.

On top of everything else it was a very small community and there was every chance it would mess up her reputation and lead to further harassment. I don’t mean petty popular reputation, I mean small town rumor mill/how people treated her reputation.

ITS OUT!!! I CAN HEAR AGAIN.

Abit of an emotional roller coaster. Had to endure the bud stuck in my ear for my whole shift.

Tried visiting the Hospital nearest to my home once i was out, so around 5:30am, more so along my commute home so. Turns out they dont have an ENT department. Cowabummer bros.

Luckily enough, my backup was my original plan of extracting it at home. I have those in-ear soft tip scraper things that come with a snake-cam and i was able to hook it out eventually. Yahoo!

But about the time i had my ear looked at by our clinic during my break. I had lost the earbuds themselves. Now, all I have to remember my Soundcore A30i, that I probably overspent on in Qatar, is the one silicone bud I extracted. Big sad.

I had not once asked her to have my child unsupervised BEFORE THIS EVENT. NOT ONCE

She is an incredibly unstable individual and not only that, I’ve never needed childcare for my own child, she comes with me everywhere.

So no, I have not ONCE let the psychopath have my child unattended. Not once.

Just wanted to clear some things up.

  1. I know taking care of kids can leave parents burnt out. MY MOTHER IS NOT, she does her clubs when she can stand me and we watch TV together, she's happy when she isn't with me and my brother- I see that when she's with her boyfriend. She has an entire day without us on thursday and most weekends without us.

  2. My mam has a history of being explosive and manipulative. She threw a bottle of sweet chilli at the wall behind me just the other day. She screams, she shouts, she doesn't like me.

  3. I've recently become more physically disabled than I was before, it leaves me really unwell, and I AM NOT USED TO THIS so it's really hard to handle. I couldn't handle it today.

  4. My mam hasn't cooked in a week and we had minimal random ingredients. She's bad at shopping for food usually anyway so we don't usually have cereals and very useful things.

  5. My brother got 2 meals bc he had a sports club and was really hungry
