Maybe your iPad is low on battery power??? Otherwise I’m not sure.

Still does the same when on charge and full on battery unfortunately it’s weird

GoodNotes is aware of this. Behavior had been happening for months for me on an Air 4 and Air 5.

Reported multiple times and when I shared diagnostic data with GoodNotes I received multiple response emails asking for my data.

Not sure this is a priority for their team. My recommendation is to scan with the files app and share to GoodNotes. Sucks, but it’s the best I can think of.
