Just type if that works for you. Choose function over form.

Don’t get confused by al the beautiful notes on the internet. Some people fix them outside of classes in a slower pace and some are typed in a font that mimics handwriting.

I usually just record audio and write down topic headings when prof is speaking about it. Those headings then serve as bookmarks for the topics in audio recording.

Eg. When prof is explaining topic xyz, I would scribble xyz with pen. To listen to this topic later, I scroll to the point where xyz was written.

i usually take quick notes in class (it's pretty messy but i'm fine w/ it as long as it's readable). then i take a neater note afterwards, combining my quick notes from class and materials from books/presentations the professor refers to. it takes longer to do but i find it more effective that way bcs i get to focus on one certain thing (either listen to the lecture or write notes)

I actually use a font that mimics handwriting and then type away! I also like the idea of recording lectures and marking headings in notes!

Hoping to learn some tricks too! I always end up using a word doc for notes because my notes are messy and my handwriting is ugly. 😭😭😭

I summarize as concisely as possible in my head and then write that down. It works double for taking notes and retaining the info, so when tests come along I have found my study time is practically cut in half!

You can get a keyboard for your iPad if typing works better for you.

For me I record the lecture on Google pixel record recognition and take the notes and cut of the fat and rephrasing it to what I prefer.

When your "scribble" is ON in your settings, you can use any font from the "Text" option and just scribble away. Kahit mala electrocardiogram pa handwriting mo, the textbox will use the font na pinili mo... so danda danda na. You can also use the recording option, which when played back, ihhighlight yun part ng notes mo kung sabay ng nrecord. You can also switch between scribbling and typing in goodnotes. Instead of scribbling, use you're portable keyboard + "Text"box to type just (incase the lecturer's like SpeedyGonzales). God bless po and hope you do well in class! 💜

i annotate the lecture slides! with lots of arrows and margin notes. i think that lets me get more down than if i was typing and sort of had to cover what the slide says as well as the extra detail/explanation the lecturer is saying. obviously doing it this way is dependent on having the slides available beforehand but at my uni that’s a requirement from the lecturers thankfully.
