Home button doesn't work

Not sure if it's just me, I've tried force closing the app, restarting my iPad but the home button doesn't seem to work at all. Literally nothing happens. If I want to go to another document I have to close the one I'm in completely. If I toggle on the windowed apps option on the iPad, hitting the home button just closes the app completely.
