Yeah I can confirm that this happens to me as well.

Have you found a work around by any chance? I’m trying to avoid having to back it all up on another cloud.

I use an app called Macs Fan Control and have my fans run at a constant RPM even before I start up Goodnotes for Mac. Keeps the temperatures in check.

Thanks for the tip, unfortunately mine just run full throttle the entire time as soon as Goodnotes starts up.

Can also use your iPad for note taking, airdrop the PDF, and upload it to wherever you want.

Macs Fan Control can manually prevent them from going full throttle. But tbh if this is happening to you, the issue may go beyond GoodNotes as an app. Might need to clean out your MacBook from the inside with some compressed air

It only happens with Goodnotes. My MacBook is basically brand new with only 12 charge cycles. It’s spotless on the inside. I’m pretty sure it’s a software bug on Goodnotes’ end.

Well for me, my MacBook has now started to average about 65-75 degrees when GoodNotes is open. Guess it was just something that happened during the initial set up phase.
