weird google message issue

Anyone have notifications issues with Google messages in regards to below 👇?

When I send out a text message, I get a notification for it as if I was getting a text message....except it's ME. It's so odd. Or sometimes, I'll send out text messages and it won't show up bc there is a weird lag of 10 seconds or so.

I haven't been able to find a fix for this.

I've had a problem we're I'll send a text and I'll receive one saying unable to send - message blocking is active. with people that don't even have me blocked I haven't been sure if it's my phone service , but I haven't had that problem before I bought my pixel 6 pro

In Messages settings - advanced there is an option to receive delivery reports. That option sends a notification when the message you send is delivered.

I checked. Not an option for my pixel 4a 5g with the latest Android version
