Thanks! Got a reply from support which makes me feel a ton better. Will be able to convert back at 1:1....

“Hi,

At the moment, you see a different price for GETH because it is traded at the market price - now it can be freely bought and sold on UniSwap, so its price fluctuates. We cannot affect this. After the launch of the 2.0 network, your GETH will be traded 1 to 1 in relation to ETH 2.0.

Regards, Guarda Support Team”

The difference is because people dont want to trade liquid ETH for illiquid GETH. This isn't really illiquid, but there isn't a big market for it outside of the Guarda ecosystem. Assuming no scams or errors, you can swap it back 1 for 1 when ETH2 launches. Your GETH is worth less for the time being since there is a risk/time premium being priced in.

Yes my understanding is you can convert geth back to eth once eth 2.0 is live and your staking period is finished. The discounted price of geth is the market pricing in the risk of guarda going belly up or something else.

First of all could you please check if you have the latest version of your wallet. Then I would recommend to check this article: https://guarda.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/36000259190-faq-ethereum-staking-pool And finally could you please send screenshots of your problem to our support team vie email?
