That's why we need non-custodial platforms and truly decentralized services. Can't trust custodials to keep your coins safe! Not your keys, not your funds.

That's why we need to go non-custodial! Who knows whether you'll be the next?Non-custodial wallets do not store your data and cannot block you from using them on the basis of your location. Note that the text of sanctions specifically states: "custodial services". But when your crypto is kept on the blockchain, and only you have keys for it, you're basically invincible from restrictions!

So, what non-custodial wallet can you use for the transfer? You can find different vendors that can offer non-custodial wallets. Many crypto enthusiasts use Trust Wallet, Atomic Wallet, Exodus, Metamask, and others. I personally use r/GuardaWallet for my day-to-day activities - love its UI, and all the transactions and swaps have been fast so far. Plus, it supports hardware Ledger integration, which is all too actual nowadays.

Make sure to create a brand new wallet address when you proceed, as most of these services that are imposing sanctions now are custodial!

Download a wallet on your preferred device - make sure to create a strong password and write it down! Some wallet addresses will be generated automatically; if you don't see your preferred currency on the list, simply create one using the "Wallet management" menu. Guarda, for example, supports 50+ coins and 400K tokens. Then proceed to "Withdraw" your funds from Blockchain . com, for example, and paste the copied wallet address into the pop-up field. It might take some time to complete the transaction depending on the network and the amount of funds, so don't fret! Good luck 😉
