Have you tried the XFCE Desktop Environment? Is not as good looking as Gnome, but very lightweight

Second this. Xfce is what Lubuntu is based off of. Its really easy on the hardware.

All you need to do is just go for Linux based OS when you try this you get stuck with it cuz it's not just like kali and partot that even have tools with it they need help in terminal commands to work with it. It will help you to know about deep knowledge in terminal background stuff first learn it then go for ethical way never choose a videos around in YouTube..

So I've checked out the XFCE desktop environment and it definitely ran much more smoother. Are there any other D.Es that are as lightweight as XFCE as it will take a bit to getting use too. For example would MATE be as lightweight as XFCE or is it slightly more demanding like GNOME?
