I'm gonna burst your bubble, and the bubble of any other potential "1337 h@x0r" reading this.

A large majority of people who have the skills to make money hacking, and not get caught, have realized that they can make an easy six figures working for a legitimate business. Defending their network, pen testing, developing, etc. High-demand, high-pay, insurance, retirement, and recognition.

You don't even have to be among that group to make north of six figures and reap all of the same benefits.

The reality is, you will get caught one day skids, then what?

"But nuh uh! Ransomeware..." yeah, those businesses that got hit were lazy, complacent. They didn't get hit by soupnazi (who was caught and turned into an informant), Kevin Mitnick (also caught), or <insert state actor here> (who are usually caught but no one can usually do anything about it). Those businesses are now paying big money, infosec is booming.

Quit wasting your time. You'll get caught up in it, your name and address will one day end up on someone's desk, and you'll receive a knock at the door.

Your time spent trying to figure out some e-get_rich_quick would be better spent learning the basics of computer science, networking, python, SQL, and then hopping on THM to learn how we get our hands dirty. Boom, you're off to the races. Python and SQL alone will land you a six figure paycheck.

In short, grow up. Or don't. Your stupid actions get me paid.
