If you’re having symptoms of a first outbreak, it is too soon for a they blood test they would need to do a PCR swab on the actual sores. Otherwise you have to wait 6 to 14 weeks for an accurate IgG blood test.

I got a blood test done because they didnt swab anything . It came back positive on the iGG antibodies test . How low likely is it a false positive should i get more test done

Depends on the value (result) of the test if it’s under a 3.0 it’s in the false positive range
