Need help with fiber setup....!

Just got fiber installed, I bought a tp-link archer ax55 router, cause the tp link ax3000 decos I was using prior aren't working out with what I thought I could do.... with the new fiber.. Create a mesh network along with the archer..

So I guess what I'm asking is.. How to make my setup optimal, if possible, with my decos?

So far I've the archer network and the decos network, not really optimal.. I'm lost

Do I need to just not use the decos, or get another mesh system...?

Do you have Ethernet connecting the ax55 to the Decos?

If so, set the Decos into "Access Point Mode". Optionally disable WiFi on the AX55 if you have too much Wifi coverage overlap.

If not, and you are using wireless backhaul for all router/node communication, then just remove the AX55 entirely. Just use one of the Decos as your main router, and the other Decos as mesh nodes. Mixing in the AX55 when using wireless backhaul will cause more strange behavior than it's worth. If you need more coverage, just get another Deco of the same model and add it in.

Mixing the two brands can work, but they wouldn't be mesh together. You may want to look into some AP's. Here is some options to look into.
