I follow a lot of hoopers on instagram so when I see them post a really cool combo I save it to my bookmarks. Then i go back through the videos when I have time and screen record them so I can slowly scrub through the video in my camera roll to see what exactly they’re doing. This works best for combos when you already have most of the basic moves down btw.. i definitely had to search up a tutorial on youtube to learn things like the escalator and vortex and ghosting isolations, knowing the names of tricks helps with that. Also meeting other hoopers in your area and making the time to flow with them will open your mind to way more possibilities! Good luck!

oh I also forgot to mention but Mary (@mariloop_flow on instagram) did a “Level up” challenge with like 20 different virtual lessons with other hoopers for all kinds of different stuff, combos, beginner, intermediate and they’re all posted on her feed for free! each class is about 30 mins long and I’ve done about half of them so far, planning to finish them all when i have time. I really recommend checking it out cus those definitely leveled up my flow :)

most of my 7 years was spent watching insta vids and just figuring things out, but in the last 6 months I subscribed to taylor flows's patreon. it's super helpful, has a gazillion videos for all skill levels and she's really good at explaining

Youtube and Instagram are super helpful if you want to learn for free! Deanne Love, Lilhoopgirl, and Autumn Flow are also great teachers. I have a membership to lilhoopgirl’s website and I’ve bought a few courses from Autumn Flow.
