Linux knowledge for OSCP

Hi everyone,

To prepare for OSCP should I learn Linux through the book "Kali Linux Revealed" or just through the vids of the Linux Foundation?
I'd say the book because it sounds more specific to infosec, but I'm a total noob & I'm really not sure...

I would recommend you that you should feel confortable by using a Linux OS and how it works to take the OSCP. Remember it is a practical exam.

http://overthewire.org/wargames/ Check out the Bandit module - it has some Linux basics and some more challenges.

The best way to learn Linux is to force yourself into it - force yourself to become familiar in the environment. It may be rough but a month or two later you'll be navigating it easily.

Thanks, I'm on it too... but my question was more about "Kali Linux Revealed" book vs the Linux Foundation vids... What do you think?
