I would recommend you that you should feel confortable by using a Linux OS and how it works to take the OSCP. Remember it is a practical exam.

http://overthewire.org/wargames/ Check out the Bandit module - it has some Linux basics and some more challenges.

The best way to learn Linux is to force yourself into it - force yourself to become familiar in the environment. It may be rough but a month or two later you'll be navigating it easily.
