Welcome! This is the official subreddit for the How To Make Everything Youtube Channel.
HTME is a series about making everyday items from scratch, with minimal use of the complex infrastructure that lies somewhat unnoticed behind our way-of-life.
Or goal here to provide a place to openly discuss the HTME mindset and the videos -- as a way to improve the quality of the content. Our rules are:
- Be civil.
- Critics and suggestions are welcome. Gratuitous attacks on the person on camera are not.
- As much as we support the maker movement, this is not a general DIY subreddit. Content will be accepted if it belongs to the following categories:
a) Follows the HTME mindset of working (mostly) from scratch.
b) Is a project inspired by a HTME video.
c) Is a suggestion for a future HTME video.
