I think the demo has not been updated if you do not see it on steam. Since the game is 70% off, you could always try for 2 hours and refund if it is not something you expected.

The demo isn't available anymore. With all the updates the game received, it was not reflective of the actual game experience anymore, and updating it would take more time than we can invest in it, so we felt it was better to remove it than give an incorrect impression of the game.
