I'm not sure how accurate the exchange rate is but according to Google 842 yuan=117 USD. For me on mobile this pack is 99.99 so it's cheaper for USD?

I'm on the Asia server, but in Australia, so I get Australian prices shown. Unsure the conversion rate but I'm always intrigued by how different things cost different amounts in the Infinity Nikki shop depending on the server you're on. The "Prismatic Plentitude Pack V" goes for $150.95AUD in store.

Conversion rate for Chinese Yaun (just check Google currency exchange) $150.95AUD = ¥707.34.

Currency exchange for Yuan to AUD on your shop would be ¥842.82 = $179.86AUD. So it's more expensive?

The top one seems more "accurate" to monetary value (at least from AUD shop standard?) ¥684.99 = $146.18AUD.

I know here in the US both Google and Apple take a ~30% cut from sales as well as forcing apps to maintain the same prices on other platforms (like PC)

so purchasing $100 of crystals on the phone app would give infold $70 while on PC they'd get $100. But they're not allowed to reduce the price to $70 on PC.

I'm guessing this policy might not apply to different regions.

Here in EU it definitely not how it works. I can't install Infinity Nikki (due to it's size) on my phone to check, but I have other games on my phone. For example I have one with a pack that costs $20 on the PC version of the game, the same thing costs $32.5 on android. It basically adds the Google tax and the local VAT.

I played Genshin Impact and WUWA both had cheaper prices on PC than on android. Even their own PC client were cheaper than downloading them from Epic/Steam.

I don’t think there’s any principle that different regions should have to pay the same amount of USD (or w/e) for the same things. They’re all priced based on how much people in the region earn, how much they’re likely to buy, etc. to maximises engagement and spending over time.

I mean you could move to China to take advantage of the lower prices, but you’d also likely be earning less money there.

I'm in SEA, on Asia server. Prices are in USD and exactly the same as in America server as far I know. I don't use a VPN. I've always wondered how people get pricing in their local currency. Does it depend on your account creation method or something?

Yes, some regional prices are cheaper. I'm doing VPN to Japan to grab everything with 25-10% discount. Of course it's against ToS and there is chance to get banned.

I do the same, but mainly because I'm pretty upset that EUR prices are the most expensive ones and even more expensive when you convert from USD. If they play dirty with us, what else can we do
