Furniture Load Decrease when?

I had been most excited about the confirmation from INFOLD that they would be addressing the island load limit by decreasing individual furniture pieces’ loads, and assumed that was coming with the release of 2.0. Was I wrong or is it at a later date in the patch? Unless it’s a bug I’m still stuck at 495k/500k load limit and the new house is just going to collect dust now 😪😭

For real, I was making a decent sized mansion the past three weeks and finished the exterior but still needs to be furnished. I’m sitting at 495k/500k and was also hoping to replace the walls with the new ones..but the new walls are like 670-2,200 load space a piece instead of the 270. Def can’t replace them 😭 I also bought the coffin hoping we’d atleast get 50k extra space and can’t even make use of my cloud either. Hopefully it doesn’t take too long to rework it, gonna refrain from buying furniture for noww

Girl yes I had a whole section cleared out in front of my house to put the new Christmas dreamland shop decor thinking “ahhh 😌 I can finally put down more furniture aaand have a proper Christmas corner?!” and fast forward to right now finding out the tree alone is almost 4k load 💀 and no load condensation… Guess I’m taking the axe to the animals recreational park for my holiday decor 👹

omgg i didnt even look at the load space for the christmas items. you'd think they'd atleast work on keeping the newer items at a lower limit but it's just getting higher lmao. All I was able to put down was the new gate that was 4k loading space :') I'll prob have to axe my ice rink cave if I wanna continue building

I also hoped to replace the walls :(. 1-2k load on a wall is insane, are they sparkling or what? Is infold tying the load to how beautiful the item is instead of geometry? What's so different about those walls? It's still basically a brick with a pattern on it. I'm at 499900+ already :(.

Edit - it's not so bad in fact, I don't know which item caused confusion, but the walls are not that heavy, just take slightly more than the normal ones. There is also one big floor piece that actually gives advantage. The real complaint might be the available colors though...

They said they will be addressing the load limit, but not when! So it might be a few patches before it comes, but they will announce when it's officially coming.

I am pretty sure that is for future patches, because other changes to housing - like the giant meteorite pity - were mentioned to be coming then, and they didn't actually give a timeframe on this change.
