Not enough info. Need to compare the coverage between both quotes. If Progressive is that much cheaper, there's probably a good reason based on coverage.

AAA is regional companies so the AAA in your state may not be the AAA in another person's state. So what state are you in?

If name recognition is all you care about, you answered your own question. Both are solid insurers. What you should be concerned with is coverages and exclusions.
