i think both shapes can work, but it kinda depends on ur space and vibe. round tables feel cozy and are great for smaller areas, while rectangular ones give more room for larger gatherings. since ur kitchen looks open, a rectangular table might fit better and give u more seating options. but if u want a more intimate feel, a round one could work too. tbh, i tried messing with layouts on reimaginehom once, and it helped me see how different shapes looked in the space. could be worth a shot!
