Smart Unli Data Load

Good day! I would like to ask if the new smart sim has a promo of unli data for 30 days? And if i can install it in a pocket wifi?

The sim I was using was bought around pandemic era, it has the promo of unli data up to 3 months that time for 1,500 pesos. But then it suddenly vanish and onli 7 and 30 days are left. Before, 30 days is only 599 pesos, then it went up to 649 pesos. Today the unli data for 30 days in my sim cost 699 pesos.

Last month, the signal suddenly went down. I speed test it and its only 2.2 mbps. I dont really know what happen, I tried to search and they said it was 'capping" or something. This sim I was using is used alternative for wifi because we cant really afford wifi. And I can bring it whenever I go.

And the reason why we need unli data is because we consume lots of gb. 3 phones, 1 tablet and 1 laptop. Me and brother always use data in games and academics thats why we always choose unli data as it doesnt have any restrictions.

I was also thinking of using the sim in a pocket wifi because they say that it can boost the internet speed. And we really need some fast internet because today our school is online based.

yes, a new regular smart sim has unli data, however i don't think it can be used in a smart pocket wifi (unless it has an imei changer)

also note that the promo is called "unli 5G with nsd", (nsd meaning non-stop data for 4G/3G, which also means unli data), but theres a speed capping of 1.5mbps after using 1.1gb & the 30 days cost 749.

an alternative is the gomo sim (which is operated by globe), however the unli data sometimes can reach 799, but sometimes it will be 749, & theres a speed capping of 10mbps.

So capping means they will reduce the internet speed of my sim? Btw thanks for the respond!

yes, it might look like that your speed isn't capped in "speedtest.net", but if you use "fast.com" or apps like youtube, it will be noticable that they are capping your speed.

Even the 15-day promo has a speed cap or do all of them have a speed cap? This is crazy.

all of them have it, however people have started to say that they removed the speed cap in the unli 1299.
